Booking and processing of relocation

As part of every package that we offer, logistics and accommodation is included. We will book flight tickets, arrange with a short-term accommodation until a rental contract has been secured, and transfer from the airport on the day of arrival.

If the employee needs to move furniture or other belongings from their country of origin, this can be coordinated as well, on the employee’s own expense. Our logistics services are provided to make sure that the relocation is handled A-Z and that the employee has a safe landing on the island.

As soon as we receive the relocation request from our client for a newly hired employee, we will send new employees an email with relevant information and a request to schedule a call to inform the employee of the procedures of relocating to Malta and to process their housing preferences.

During this call, we will ask the employee to prepare all required documentation and either submit it to us, or store it personally, depending on the willingness of the employee to let us process the documentation. Unless previously agreed already in the employment contract, a contract allowing us to process the documentation will be sent over to the employee for acquiring consent.

During our initial dialogue, we will attempt to schedule a flight immediately if possible. We will also inform the employee of all steps moving forward with the relocation. When flight tickets are booked, we will provide the employee with a separate email with the relevant information.

During the day of the relocation, we will make contact with the employee prior to the flight and make sure everything is in order. We will arrange with name sign pick-up at the entrance hall at the airport and transportation to the accommodation.
